Twins and Multiple Birth Insurance

About the Policy

The birth of a child can put an additional financial strain on most family budgets, a multiple birth will just increase the problem. This insurance will provide a lump sum payment if two or more babies are born, which will assist with the purchase of necessities such as extra cots, clothes and so on. It could also assist with the cost of employing someone to help at home during the first few weeks.

You can choose a benefit from £1000 to £5000 and Subject to the details provided regarding your family histories on the application form a quotation will be given.

Please note that the maximum Sum Insured available to Insured Persons in the Medical Profession is limited to £1000 until such time that written confirmation is received from the Insured that they have no access to Ultra Sound Scanning equipment.

If more than two children are born, the sum insured will be doubled at no extra premium.

Please note we cannot provide you with a quotation if you have undergone infertility treatment within the last two years.
